WHERE COMIC DREAMS COME TO LIFE

Our Story

It started in a cramped basement apartment in 2018, surrounded by towering stacks of longboxes and the faint smell of aging newsprint. What began as three friends arguing over whether The Crimson Beetle #47 was overrated (it's not, by the way) turned into something bigger than we ever imagined.
We were tired of sterile online marketplaces and soulless big-box stores that treated comics like any other product. We wanted a place where you could geek out over a pristine Silver Age find, debate the best storylines for hours, and actually feel the excitement of discovering your next favorite series.

So we took the leap. We emptied our savings, maxed out our credit cards, and opened our doors with a simple mission: Create a haven where every collector, from wide-eyed newbies to seasoned veterans, feels like they're home.
Today, we're proud to be your neighborhood comic sanctuary - whether you're hunting for that elusive #1 issue, building your graphic novel collection, or just want to hang out and talk shop. Every comic in our store has been hand-selected by people who genuinely care about the medium, the art, and the stories that have shaped our lives.
This isn't just a store. It's a community. And we're thrilled you're part of it.

Meet the Squad

Alex Rivera

Founder & Chief Comic Obsessive

The dreamer who started it all. Alex's first comic was a dog-eared copy of Lunar Knights #1 that their uncle gave them when they were seven. They've been hooked ever since. By day, Alex handles acquisitions and hunts down rare finds at conventions and estate sales. By night, they're re-reading The Wandering City for the fifth time and ugly-crying at the same parts.

Favorite Pull:

"Anything from the Neon Shadows series by Ricardo Mills."

Hot Take:

"Digital comics are valid, and gatekeeping hurts the community."

Jordan "Jordy" Chen

Inventory Manager & Golden Age Guru

If you need to know the publishing history of a 1940s Star Sentinel issue, Jordy's your person. They grew up in their grandparents' attic, discovering boxes of pristine Golden Age comics that sparked a lifelong passion for preservation and history. Jordy runs our grading operations and teaches customers the art of proper comic care (hint: never use tape. EVER.).

Favorite Pull:

"The Phantom Spy by Walter Hayes - the OG storytelling master."

Hot Take:

"Bagging and boarding isn't optional. It's a moral obligation."

Maya Okonkwo

Events Coordinator & Indie Champion

Maya discovered comics through webcomics and indie publishers, which means she's always championing the underdog titles you've never heard of but absolutely need to read. She organizes our creator meet-and-greets, trivia nights, and midnight release parties that have become legendary in the community. She's also responsible for our incredible kids' section because she believes every child deserves to find their gateway comic.

Favorite Pull:

"The Silver Thorn and anything from Velro Comics."

Hot Take:

"Manga is comics. Get over it."

Sam Torres

Sales Lead & Superhero Superfan

Sam can quote Thunder Squad dialogue in their sleep and has read every major crossover event since The Rift Wars began. They're the person you want helping you navigate the intimidating world of crossover events and tie-ins. Sam's superpower? Making every customer feel welcome, whether you're buying your first comic or your thousandth.

Favorite Pull:

"Midnight Archer by Elena Cross and James Wu - perfection in 22 pages."

Hot Take:

"The best superhero stories are the quiet, human moments between the fights."

Come say hi! We're always down to talk comics
